Trampolines are Dangerous!

The majority of questions I answer on the Internet relate to the severe reputation of the trampoline being Soooooo Dangerous!
There is no doubt that the Trampoline can be a dangerous piece of equipment, and many minor injuries are incurred because people do not know haw to trampoline properly - thus I am attempting to help people keep safe by teaching my trampoline course.
However, I would like to reiterate that the main reason trampolines get such a bad rap is because the trampoline is often used like this:

When this kid breaks his arm, (or neck), it will be recorded as an accident caused by the trampoline by the hospital! It’s no wonder the hospitals are recording so many “trampoline accidents”! It’s a shame they do not record “Stupidity Accidents” as I am sure their files would be bulging and the poor old trampoline wouldn’t be the ‘bad guy’ for a change.For your information, hospitals record 3 times more ‘bicycle accidents’ and yet I have never read reports on how extremely dangerous the average bicycle is!!Keep Safe and use your trampoline safely.
